For 27 years, Toronto was home.

In August 2021, I chose to step away from comfort—leaving behind my family and friends and the life I had built. I returned to Egypt, driven by a renewed sense of purpose and a calling I could no longer ignore.

I have had to cope with significant personal sacrifices. But the quest for meaning fuelled my resolve.
