Being away from ‘home’ (Canada) is difficult.
Having a large family and a number of close friends make it difficult to keep up; frequent check-ins seems impossible. Timezone differences, busy schedules, responsibilities, unforeseen problems, crises, challenges, changing emotions – the ebb and flow of life. I completely understand it.
Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with God and with eternity.
P. Coelho

Enjoy the ride. Be vulnerable. Create time. Guard time. Take nothing personal. Cherish every second. Your community of family and friends – these are sacred. Love deeply. Remain humble. Be selfless. Communicate openly and often – are some reminders to help me keep focused.
